• Repairs to the water table (masonry) on the west side
• Restoration or replacement of deteriorated exterior wood frames of large, stained glass windows

Moving forward, an annual building inspection using lifts and a drone service will take place every spring to plan future restoration and repair projects effectively. The water table, roofing, and façade will be closely monitored for leaks and water infiltration for annual repair.

A very slim drip edge over the Basilica’s beautiful sandstone permits excess moisture to absorb into the very porous stone presenting freeze thaw risks that cause instability.
